Ford Pre School and Toddlers is dedicated to providing to provide early education and outdoor learning.  We pride ourselves on having a safe nurturing, stimulating environment for all children to develop their confidence and self esteem, whilst promoting positive attitudes and ensuring that achievements and efforts are valued and praised. Our passionate staff are committed to the well-being and development of each child by upporting them in accessing our rich curriculum.  Our extensive outdoor learning areas  allow children to explore and learn in a natural setting, fostering a love for the outdoors. encouraging childrern to socialise, co-operate, interact, and form positive relationships with other children while in addition to suporting them adults always promoting equality and diversity and prioritizing child protection and safeguarding.

We feel that what we are able to offer at Ford Pre-school is as unique and special as the location in which it is situated.  We do a lot of our learning through play in the amazing outdoor environments that we have door step access to including a growing garden, play garden with climbing, large scale resources and huge sand pit. We regularly access the on-sight forest school and qualified forest school leader. These environments enable us to have a love of nature as well as use nature in our planning to extend children’s leaning and development.  These learning environments really have to be seen to be believed.

We are proud of boast of our low staff to child ratio, this enables us to access the village, post office, park, castle to name but a few that are all with in walking distance of our setting.  As well as the local farm to see the lambing shed and follow the farming calendar which is a strong influence to the community life.  We have a strong relationship with the local community with parents volunteering to be on the committee and local people taking time to support us in any way they can. This is what makes Ford Pre School feel unique valued and real asset to the community.
